Killer comp! There were a good many excellent NWOBHM comps put out. Scene of the Crime, Roxcalibur, Kent Rocks, Roksnax among a few others being some of the best.

80's Metal truly is the best. I miss the vibe and the style of the 80's also. People just had a certain coolness about them and today's modern full of stupidity and attitude would have no chance at competition with an 80's woman..😂

I picked up this CD when I was stationed in Japan in the mid-90s. To my pleasant surprise, it featured Harry Conklin on vocals, as I had long been a Jag Panzer fan. TF uses the non-standard chord voicings, odd time signatures, and shred of progressive metal without the boring extended jams. IMO, peak USPM!

I just have to comment on this video again to say that I frickin love US Power Metal. It is such an underappreciated subgenre of Heavy Metal. And this is one of the best albums within that space.

Correction. This is not the band's first demo. The first demo was "Gotham City/Killer Angels" in 1981, which they re-recorded for the single which was also released in 1982. This demo is not from 1981, but was recorded in 1982 AFTER the single. It will be officially released on Cult Metal Classics with all the info straight from the band, including rare/unpublished photos and lots of info!

I had this on cassette when I was a wee lad but my BAYCREST ate it. I purchased it from China on CD a few weeks ago. I received it two days ago. BAYCREST was a product of the Hudson Bay Company (The Bay-Canada). It was a small 80s "Ghetto Blaster". 😂Ghetto blaster!

I don't know what Vocalist the band Satan had back then, he sounds like Ted Nugent. I prefer the Vocals that Brian Ross of Blitzkrieg, and Lone Wolf provided for the Court in the Act album, which was released by Neat Records the following year. Great album. Probably one of the first to feature Neo classical guitars. It predated Yngwie Malmsteen - Rising Force by a year and a half.
